She was the daughter of the late Amil and Rose (Shultz) Sonder and Anna Nimmerichter.
She worked as a line worker for the former Tung-Sol and was a baker and prep cook for Yellow House. Alverda was an avid bird watcher.
Three children, Carl, David and Idella; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive Alverda. A sister and a brother; two grandsons Joe and David, Jr., predeceased her.
Funeral Services are private at the convenience of the family.
