Anthony Marabella

Anthony Marabella, 97, Gilbertsville, PA passed away at Pennsburg Manor surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Santo A. and Frances (Muscara) Marabella.

Tony is survived by Eleanor Johnson his loving companion of 44 years with whom he resided, 3 children Kathleen of Williamsport, Michael husband to Maureen of Douglassville and Gina of Reading, Eleanor’s sons Jeff of Gilbertsville and Jonathan of New Holland and her grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Tony was the widower of Faye (Embree) Marabella. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Samuel of Reading, Santo of Reading and a sister, Anna Piontek of Reading

Growing up in Reading, Tony was a member of the US Army while serving in the Korean War. He learned electrical wiring while working with his father. He attended Trade School in Philadelphia where he learned HVAC. He was employed by Firestone for 30 years, retiring in 1989.

Tony loved to travel with Eleanor, especially to Disney World and on a total of 17 cruises. He was also interested in vintage aircraft and hi-fidelity stereo systems.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
