Arling L. Royer

Arling L. Royer, 84, husband of Anna K. (Willman) Royer of North Washington Street, Boyertown passed away in his residence Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Born in Boyertown he was the son of the late Myers and Gertha (Miller) Royer. He was Co-Founder and Past President of Royer Quality Castings, Boyertown. Prior to that he worked at Federal Mogual, formerly Wagner Electric, Boyertown. He is a member of Faith Chapel Christian Assembly, Birdsboro, where he was a founding member. Surviving with his wife Anna of 65 years is a daughter, Sherry L., wife of Charles Camelleri of Reading; two sons, David A., husband of Hope (Foley) Royer of Boyertown and Tim J. Royer of Boyertown; a foster daughter Mary Willman of Boyertown; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Gordon, Kenneth and Armond Royer and two sisters, Ethel Smith and Violet Sobresky. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. A viewing will be Saturday between 1 - 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.
