Born in Boyertown, she is the daughter of the late Kathryn and Allen Ziegler.
Betty was employed as a production worker in Sassamansville and at Erntext in Gilbertsville for many years until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church 611 Swamp Pike. New Berlinsville, PA. 19545. She also was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Liberty Fire Company.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Kay Haas-Bechtel wife of Dennis J. Bechtel of Boyertown. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Betty is predeceased by her daughter, Jan L. Houck who passed away in 2014.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church. Friday, January 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Friends may call at church from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
