Born in Washington Twp., he was a son of the late Daisy F. (Haas) and William Gilbert.
Clark served in the US Air Force and attained the rank of Sergeant.
He worked for Boyertown Packaging as a flexographic Printer for many years and was a member of the Graphic Communication and Specialty Workers Union Local 756.
Clark was a life time member of the Charles B. Yerger Legion Post 471,a member of the Boyertown Historical Society, and a member of the Woodsmen of the World. He was also a life member of Keystone Fire Co. No 1. A member of Keystone Fire Co in Bechtelsville, Pike Township Sportsman’s Association and the Gabelsville Athletic Assn.
He is survived by his siblings Sandra H. Hutchison of Bally and John Gilbert of Portage, PA. His long time caregiver and friend is Lynne M. Gilbert of Bechtelsville. Clark is predeceased by his sister, Anne Gilbert.
Funeral Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in Hill Church Cemetery.
