Fred Dewitt Moore

Born in Winston Salem, NC he was the son of the late Chaffin and Nellie (Poplin) Moore.

He was owner/operator of the former Comfort Creators, Collegeville for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed music, playing steel guitar, golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving with his wife Deborah of 58 years are six children, Pam, wife of Bob Smith of Pennsauken, NJ, Debra, wife of Don Reilly of King of Prussia, PA, Fred Moore and his wife Patty of Horsham, PA, Karen Christy of Reading, PA. Michele Jones of Souderton, PA and Barbara Pryor of Sebring, FL; twenty nine grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy, wife of Frank Collins of NC and Virginia Woody of Florida; a sister-in-law, Linda Bailey, wife of Barry Doganieri of Lansdale, PA and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson Scott Mann and two great-grandsons Baby Benny and Baby Twain.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the Linwood W Ott Funeral Home, 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Chaplin Don Eisenhauer will officiate.

Relatives and friends will be received between 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
