Born in Philadelphia PA, He was a son of the late Crescentia (Mueller) and Anton Lieb.
He was employed at the same Tool and Die company for over 52 years and was the tool room supervisor for 30 plus years until his retirement in 2002.
He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church at 610 Pine St. Bally, PA 19503.
George is survived by his six children, Anton "Tony" Lieb, Jeanette Douglass, Hilda Seifert, Patricia Hertzog, Anita Moyer, Lisa Showalter and a sister, Matilda "Tilli" Sodano. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
George is predeceased by his granddaughter Jaqueline Rae Showalter, and siblings Patricia Cosgrove and Lucy Dolney.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Bally, PA on Saturday November 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Inurnment will be in the Church Cemetery.
In leu of flowers contributions may be made in George's name to Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
