Michelle and Donnie - so sorry to hear of  your mom's passing.  I will always remember the times we spent at your grandfathers house in Swedeland and your house.  Doing ceramics with your mom and my dad.   Picnics at Sissy's house. These were the good days.  May the happy memories you hold in your heart help you through this most difficult time.  Rest in peace Jeannie and give my love to all in heaven there to greet you and hold you close until we meet again.  All of my love.  Nicha

Jean Orner was my second Mom all through Michelle and my High School years and beyond !!!  What a strong, cool , lady she was !!! always understanding , and tough when we needed it !!!  Jean said , Karen , you are more than welcome to take my car for your drivers license test !!! I was sooooo happy , because my other option was my Dad VW Bus  , which was a groovy ride , but I LOVED Jeans Dodge Dart !  I’ll never forget how generous she was  , no questions asked , just a hug and a good luck , hope you pass the test !!!!  She was my good luck charm that day !!!! Soar with the Angels Jean !!!! 

I met Jean when I moved to SC in 2007, we lived in the same community.
We became lunch buddies, grocery shopping buddies and hairdresser buddies.  We also shared a love of cats and her and Don helped to socialize many kittens we fostered.
Miss you Jean.
I am sure Heaven is livlier with you there.

I am one of Jean's classmates from Upper Merion. It was  a joy having her
in my life for my entire school experience.  Jean was loved by all and took
part in all of the  fun things that high school  kids do.
  Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you, and may God give
you the peace only He can give.

I had the privilege of volunteering with Jean at the McCall Hospice House.  Jean was such a fun and joy-filled friend.  She had an infectious smile and never met a stranger.  Jean had the wonderful ability to put everyone at ease.  Her compassionate spirit was truly a blessing to us at the hospice house.  I love you, Jean and will see  you in heaven! Love, Laurie Johnson

To the family,

I knew Jean for a short while at the Hospice House.  She retired shortly after I joined Bonnie in the Volunteer office.  I simply wanted to share how much I loved her infectious laughter and bright smile.  I am blessed to have known her a short while and appreciated her 8 years of service to our program.  I am also so pleased we could love on her here in her final days. Much love and big hugs to all.

Jean is survived by her step-children and children: Shirley Rutherford  and her husband Wayne; Donna McCarron and her husband, Charles; Michelle Cayce and her husband, Richard; Donald G. Orner and his wife Nina.  Grandchildren, Shawn Bishop, Ryan Rutherford, Kelly Foy, Danielle Davis, Jason Myers, and Heather Pingatore; Great-grandchildren, Shane Shelby, Coby, Andrew, Trey, Zoey, Maverick, Anthony, and Christian.  Special loved one; Jack, her grand donkey.  
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Jennie (Robbins) Woodside; her husband, Donald and sister Julia (Woodside) Kelly.
