Margaret Rose German

Born in Fricks Locks, PA. on November 6, 1920. She was the last surviving daughter of the late Charles A. and Ada (Quigg) Mull. She graduated from Spring City High School and the Pottstown School of Nursing. She served in the Army Nurse Corps in the States and in the European Theater during WWII.

She Married Edward B. German on January 20, 1947. The couple spent many years in Oakhurst, NJ. Before moving to Boyertown, PA in 1966.

Rose was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, New Berlinville. She was a member and past president of the Woman’s Club of Boyertown, and a past president of the Philadelphia Thimble Society. She worked with the Girl Scouts and taught Sunday school for many years. Rose enjoyed sewing and she made many beautiful quilts and other items.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Jeanne and son in law Frederick Wagner, by her grandchildren, Angela and James Bauer and Rick and Marilyn Wagner. Her Great granddaughter, Abigail Rose Wagner, along with her dear friend Arthur Emery. She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA. 19512. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Boyertown.
