Mary C. Feather

Born in Washington Township, Berks County, PA on April 11, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Emma A. (Bachman) and Frank Eline

She was a sewing machine operator at the former Bally Pants Factory until her retirement. She also worked as a waitress at the Liberty Fire Company.

Mary was a member of St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church, Boyertown. A life member of the Liberty Fire Company, New Berlinville. She was a member of the Liberty Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Company, Boyertown.

She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan who loved to watch the ball games. She also loved to watch the game shows.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who is survived by sons, John G., Feather, Jr., husband of Jean E. of Bechtelsville and Donald M. Feather of Boyertown; daughters, LuAnn M., wife of Thomas Alting of Bechtelsville and JoAnn M. Feather of Georgetown, Delaware; grandsons, Michael A., James M. and Gavin M. Feather; great-grandchildren; Krista, Corrbin, Austin, Michele, Ashley, John and Allyson; sisters, Margaret A., widow of Paul L. Gehris, Sir, of Pennsburg, Dorothy, widow of Larry Kemp of Topton and Arlene A., wife of Edwin Wolf of Bechtelsville; two sister-in-laws Dorothy, wife of Ronald Reidenauer and Nancy, wife of Harry Carter both of Florida. She was predeceased by a sister Victoria Benfield and five brothers, Raymond J., Leroy H., Wallace W., Andrew, Baltzor and James Eline.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2012 at St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church, 200 Indian Springs Road, Boyertown. Father Marty Kern will officiate.

A viewing will be Thursday, September 6, 2012 between 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown.

Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
