Morris E. Rissell

Morris E. Rissell, 82, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in his residence. He is survived by his wife, Betty M. (McElvee) Rissell. Born in Pottstown August 9, 1928 he was the son of the late Edgar E. And Elizabeth M. (Weiss) Rissell Keifrider and stepson of the late Charles Keifrider.

Morris was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pottstown. He was employed by Teleflex in Limerick as a machine operator for 29 years retiring in 1991.

He is also survived by a son Keith C., husband of Joan Rissell of Reading; a daughter, Judy A. Myers of Boyertown; a sister, Jane Fink of Boyertown; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren. Morris was predeceased by a sister Ruth Auman and a brother Richard Rissell.

Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in First Presbyterian Church, 750 North Evans Street, Pottstown, PA 19464. The Reverend W. Carter Lester, Jr. will officiate.

Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.

A viewing will be Tuesday, November 30, 2010 between 10 – 11 a.m. in the church.
