Robert E Sterner

Born in Earl Township, Berks County, he was the son of the late John E. and Alice A. (Ehst) Sterner.

He was a machine operator for 30+ years for Proto-Cast until his retirement. He was a Korean Army Veteran and served in Okinawa. Robert was a life member of the Liberty Fire Company, New Berlinville.

Surviving with his wife Alice of 60 years (married October 8, 1955) are three daughters, Diane M. Moore of Gilbertsville; Pamela J., wife of John Westerman of Phoenixville and Linda K., wife of Frank Gehringer of Barto; son, Barry A. Sterner of Reading; seven grandchildren, Jason Derr, Jessica Moore, Ashley, Aaron and Amanda Westerman, Catherine and Emily Gehringer. Robert was predeceased by two brothers, John and William; a sister, Grace and a grandson Jonathan Moore.

Funeral Services are private at the convenience of the family.
