Warren "Butch" B. Frain Jr.

Warren B. “Butch” Frain, Jr., 71, husband of R. Shirley (Miller) Frain of Farmington Avenue, Boyertown passed on Saturday, March 12, 2011 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, PA.

Born in Pottstown he was the son of the late Miriam V. (Hahn) and Warren B. Frain, Sr...

Butch was a 1957 graduate of Boyertown High School, a member of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Boyertown. He was also a life member of the Keystone Fire Company and the Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Company, Boyertown. Butch enjoyed golfing and collecting pocket watches.

He was employed by the former Dohler Jarvis as a Journeyman Machinist for 33 years, retiring in 1998. After his retirement from Dohler Jarvis he was a part time courier for the Boyertown National Penn Bank.

Surviving with his wife Shirley of 46 years (Married February 27, 1965) are two daughters, Beth Weinsteiger of Collegeville and Linda Care and her companion Ron Hoffman of Reading; a sister, Shirley Scheetz of Boyertown; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Butch was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl L. Frain and a brother Stanley Frain.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M., Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. The Reverend Dennis Christie will officiate.

A viewing will be Wednesday between 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Boyertown.
