Heath Allen Perry, born on March 24, 1969, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 56. A resident of Parrish, Florida, Heath leaves behind his son, Joshua Perry, his mother, Kathryn Perry, and his siblings, Albert, Wayne, and Ann Perry. He is also survived by his nephew, Justin Perry, and his best friend, Jamie Hopkins. Heath was preceded in death by his brothers, Lieutenant Joseph and Scott Perry.
Heath was a man of many talents, a jack of all trades but a master to none. Known for his quick wit and sharp sense of humor, he was always a little prankster, bringing love and laughter to those around him. He cherished adventure, animals, and nature, often stopping to help a turtle cross the street or nursing injured animals back to health.
In honor of his late brother, Lieutenant Joe Perry, Heath founded Lieutenant Perry’s Place, a sanctuary for first responders to find support and relief from the hardships and horrors they encounter in the line of duty.
As a mechanical engineer, Heath possessed the knowledge to build or fix almost anything and was renowned for his problem-solving abilities. He always sought the bright side of life, living, laughing, loving, and fighting passionately for those he cared about.
A Celebration of Life Service for Heath will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 10 am at Bayside Community Church - North River Campus, 9505 Moccasin Wallow Rd, Parrish, FL 34219 with a luncheon immediately following in the Youth Campus.
Rest now, dear brother, for life's burdens are no longer chains to hold you down. May your broken wings be mended, your heart be healed, and your thoughts be at peace. May your soul rise like the Phoenix, brightening the Lord’s light by His side, in remembrance of your unyielding love for others until we meet again.
