Paulette Trinita Saggio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday February 14, 2025 in Bradenton, Florida. Paulette was born on August 21, 1954 in Malden Massachusetts to Mary and Francis Puleo. She is survived by her husband William, her children and their partners, Khae, Melissa (Steven), Jodi (Jim), and William (Nicole), and her grandchild Leonardo. Paulette was also extremely loved by her immediate and extended family, including her siblings and their partners Susan (Steven), Diane (Timmy), Lori, Mark, and Danny (deceased). She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and was often referred to as “Auntie Pete” by their children. Over the last 12 years she was a loving mother to her fur babies, Jake and Tilly, whom she adopted after a brief volunteering stint at the Humane Society of Sarasota.
Paulette graduated from Melrose High School in Melrose, MA in the class of 1972. From there, she led a life filled with travel, devoted careers, volunteer work and her biggest passion, family and friends. Her notable professions included working as a mortgage officer for Randolph Savings Bank, where she helped first time home buyers purchase new homes. She always made sure to guide her clients to success, and when the housing market crashed in 2008, none of Paulette’s clients lost their homes. She was also the first female collection agent in the history of The Boston Gas Company, and co-owned the family McDonald’s franchise with her husband William.
Paulette’s drive in life consisted of surrounding herself with a plethora of friends and family as well as helping people. She was a Sunday School teacher for St. Mary’s Church in Melrose, MA, a volunteer for the St. Vincent De Paul Society in Hull, MA and pretty much ran the show at the All Faiths Food Bank in Sarasota, Florida. Everywhere Paulette went, she collected friends, with her magnetic personality and giving nature- she was adored by hundreds of people in all pockets of her life. She will be missed immensely.
A Celebration of Life for Paulette will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 12 noon, at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, FL 34211. Another Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 1 PM at Mount Hood Golf Course, 100 Slayton Rd., Melrose, MA 02176.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tidewell Hospice at Lakeview Ranch or All Faiths Food Bank.
