Thomas "Tom" John Bray

11 enero, 1970 – 11 febrero, 2024
Obituario de Thomas "Tom" John Bray
EN EL CUIDADO DE

Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center

Thomas "Tom" John Bray, age 54, of Lakewood Ranch, FL passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Tom was born in Arlington Heights, IL on January 11, 1970. He was a graduate of J.B. Conant High School, Hoffman Estates, IL, Class of 1988.

Tom was a kind person that kept his struggle with Multiple Myeloma private. He never once complained about the diagnosis he was dealt. He fought the good fight for 12 years. Tom was passionate about cars, specifically his Camaro. He moved to Florida from Illinois, in 2019, with his sister and brother-in-law and joined a Camaro club where he met the most wonderful people. He loved football, car racing, golf and just about any sport that was out there. Tom had a passion for music, especially classic rock with the band Led Zeppelin being at the top of the list. He would call himself a “simple guy”, most would call him a beautiful soul that loved dearly from the heart, even though he never said much, you could feel how he cared for you. He left behind a wonderful son that will miss him dearly, but he will be strong, like his dad, and continue to do amazing things.

Tom is survived by his beloved son, Zachary Thomas Bray; loving mother, Barbara Bergmann Bray and sisters, Barbara J. Smith (Ed) and Patricia Bray Nelson. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Jane and Bill Lussow and Charles and Irene Bergmann; nephews, Timothy Smith and Cade Nelson; nieces, Andrea Smith, Madison DeBono Acosta and Lily Nelson and many cousins. Tom is preceded in death by his father, Thomas C. Bray and grandparents, Arthur and Lillian Bray and Charles and Ruth Bergmann.

We will miss you Tommy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's memory may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation MMRF, 383 Main Avenue 5th floor, Norwalk, CT 06851 or www.themmrf.org.
