Anibal Manuel Cordeiro

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the Cordeiro Family announces the passing of Anibal Manuel Cordeiro. He passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital with his family by his side on Saturday, February 17th, 2018. Anibal was a beloved husband of over 44 years to Gloria Cordeiro. He was a loving and devoted father of Cathy (Alex) DeGuzman, Nancy Cordeiro and Jessica (Anthony) Cuna. Anibal was a loving and devoted grandfather to Mateo, Isabella, Christian, Gabriella, Erica, Chloe and Benjamin. Anibal is survived by his siblings Lidia (Joe) DaSilva, Adelina (Robert) Wilson, Lucy (Manuel) Rocha and Carlos (Paula) Cordeiro. Anibal will also be missed by nieces, nephews, family and many close friends.

Anibal was born in Sao Miguel, Portugal on September 20th, 1952 and was the son of the late Manuel & Maria de Gloria Cordeiro. Anibal will be remembered for being the life of the party and his smile and contagious laughter filled a room. His close family and friends will remember him by his nicknames such as 'Obo', and 'Andy' and how he made impressions on each person lucky enough to be in his presence. He was continuously recognized as a hard worker and was always there to support others. His love and passion for sports will be carried on by his adoring grandchildren. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from him throughout his life from the proper way to grill a steak to how to care for a perfect garden. Anibal will always be remembered as a loving Husband/Brother/Father/Grandfather and all around good guy and may he always Rest In Peace.
