The Humber Heritage Club will never be able to fill the void of losing one of their dear members. Danny was always a beacon of trust and happiness within the club. He is sorely missed by everyone that knew him. Thinking of him with deepest respect.

Our heartfelt condolences to Elsie and family on the passing of Danny.  He was an active member, always willing to assist,  and also was an executive member of our Canada Post Corporation Heritage Club, Humber Chapter for several years.   We celebrate Danny and his  wonderful life.  We will always remember him.

The Pettit household was always open for friends and family. When my sister and I were young we spent a great deal of time there. Danny with occasionally query why I would always show up on roast beef night? I would reply it was because we live down one of him and I could smell it when he took it out of the oven! It was a fun place to visit and occasionally refuge from our own home. I’m glad that I got to reconnect with him in recent years. And sorry that he is now gone. It’s rather bitter Sweet that I wasn’t able to see Danny during a recent visit to Ontario. But at the same time my last and best memory of Danny will be enjoying a beverage in the carport well getting reacquainted with him and Elsie .

Elsie, Abner and I are so saddened to learn the news of Danny's passing. Although I have met him only a few times, Abner speaks of you and Danny often, and has shared with me many memories of your times together in Ontario. Please be assured our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Saying goodbye to a great Brother-in-law. Danny. You were more like a Brother to me.  You were the  first member of the Pettit family I met in 1967. We were very close, Dana was our flower girl when Al and I were married. We raised our children and grandchildren with you being a big part of their lives. You will be missed very much by all of us.

Danny and Elsie were beloved next door neighbours for me and my late husband Aldo for over 25 yrs....am so glad I was able to visit with him and Elsie recently.....sending heartfelt condolences to Elsie and the family. RIP Danny

You were more than my cousin you were my best friend.  It’s time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad, so until we meet again. I love you my brother .

Danny was a very kind neighbour and friend. We will really miss him.

Danny was a longtime member and past executive of the Humber Heritage Club. Danny was always  there to give a hand and enjoyed helping Santa by responding to the magnitude of letters written by children during Christmas. He was a truly wonderful person and always greeted you with a smile and a kind word. He will be greatly missed by our club. With heartfelt sympathy, to his family.

There are no words to describe how I feel right now. My heart aches knowing that I did not get a chance to see you one last time. You were a wonderful man, and a really awesome Uncle. I thank you for all you have ever done for me. I will miss our random talks, our visits for bbqs, swims, chats, and the kids will miss their tractor and wagon rides, and the occasional slip and dip in the pond, and who could forget Uncle Danny the dentist. I swear every tooth that came loose after that first one you pulled, Connor wanted to go back and get you to pull them out too. We are sorry we are not able to be there to celebrate your life and all you gave to each of us, but know that you meant the world to us and we love you and will miss you dearly. Love all of us, Melinda, Tony, Alexis & Connor xo.

Would love to hold up a  Labbatt's 50 for him but will find something in its place to remember him Friday.
I'm sure Dad and him having a beer will look down on us and enjoy the afterlife together watching us grow, until we meet again Uncle Danny 😢.
