Ann and Denzil's family, our most heartfelt condolences on the passing of a wonderful man.
Denzil and I played golf for many years at Marlwood in Wasaga Beach as riding partners in our foresome of Dick Burton and Dave Theodore, we also went to Myrtle Beach with Cookie's group and played there for a number of years.
We had so many great times on the golf course and enjoying an adult beverage afterwards in the clubhouse.
After his move to Brampton our only connection was over the phone, which we made a point to connect very often.
I will miss my good friend dearly and I expect he will be having a game in heaven with some of the Marlwood boys.

Dearest Ann - So very sad to learn of the passing of Denzil.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family at this most difficult time.

My  , brother, Denzil he was so special how would I describe him integrity, wisdom, knowledge, compassion a very wise  man he chose his words carefully not  to  offend people, but he got his point across he always brought positive energy wherever he was he taught me so much for that. So very sorry to learn of Uncle Denzil’s passing. 
His life was a tremendous journey – from Burma to England to Canada – and he touched so many people along the way. 
Uncle Denzil was the first of my family to cross the Atlantic in search of opportunity and a better life in Canada, and I thank him for his trailblazing daring. I would not have the life I have now if Uncle Denzil hadn’t encouraged my mother and father to follow. 
Uncle Denzil was a thoughtful, dedicated and kind man. I hope that he and my dad are enjoying a game of chess tonight.

Anne, so sorry to hear about Denzil,  we are all fortunate to have fond memories of many good times.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss losing the patriarch of your family. I know that being a 'girl' dad was the highlight of Denzil's life. He loved all of you so much and you returned that love ten fold. Heather, you spent so much time with your father and mother I know that taking them on that last trip overseas when you did the tour of Asia and his homeland was a very special milestone for all of you. I am so glad that you were able to do that. You all have so many special memories and his spirit will continue to live on in all of you. He was such a kind, wise and witty man, who always made everyone laugh. I will always remember our visits very fondly. Thinking of you all at this very difficult time. Big tender hugs to you all.

We are so happy to have known Denzil and to have shared some fun times  with him. 
May he have eternal peace and may all of you find peace at this sad time.

I'm truly sorry to hear about the passing of my dearest Uncle Denzil. Please know that my thoughts are all with his family during this difficult time. Uncle Denzil was a remarkable person, and his kindness and warmth touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He never forgot to wish me a happy birthday year after year!

We were very sorry to hear about Denzil’s passing yesterday. We recall visiting him in hospital a few years ago; feels like it was just weeks ago!
This is a sad time for the family, grieving the loss of someone who was so central to your lives. Along with grief therefore, you can nevertheless take comfort in the fact that you are also able to celebrate Denzil’s life and his achievements. Not least of which was raising a wholesome family together with Ann.

We’re grateful to have known Denzel, if only for a short period of time.  We watched him come alive when his cousin visited from the UK. They shared stories and great food from his homeland; which all brought a twinkle back to his eyes.  Thank you Heather for opening your home and providing us with the opportunity to share in your family gatherings.  As a result our life has been enriched.
