Doris Zahra

Predeceased by her loving husband of over 62 years Daniel Zahra and by her granddaughter Melissa. Beloved mother to Debbie (predeceased David Cliffe), Diana (predeceased David Garvie), Grace (Ron DeBartolo) and Raymond (Jennifer). Cherished nanna to Alan, Danny, Deniella, Kristopher (Sara), Michael (Lauren), Dylan, Liam, Joey, Alex (Destiny), Alicia (Adam) and greatnanna to Alexis, Jordan, Jackson, Macey, Truly, Nora, Cane, Tye, Kyle, Tanner, Destiny, Ashton, Mara, David, Giulian, Xander, Kaia, Ariella, Alessandria, Alessia. Dear sister to Guy, Mary (predeceased Alfred), Rose (Charlie), Charlie (Mario), Raymond (Pauline) and predeceased by Joseph and Emanuel (survived by Mary). She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Her child like innocence never went unnoticed. Her finesse for style was like no other no matter what her age. She always found the need to take care of herself and it showed! She always looked forward to the next shopping trip! Her love for her husband was like a bond never seen. She enjoyed the care she was shown by him. A very giving person, even to strangers. She loved to help the elderly even when she was in need herself. We as her children remember growing up with her not only as a mother, but a friend you could talk to and run to when we were in trouble.

As she lived through her trials and tribulations, open heart surgery, COPD, she remained strong and optimistic. We admired her strength as most would have given up.

Her life had changed when her beloved husband passed away by stepping into an independent role.

The strength she showed was amazing.

We lost an Angel here on earth but now she is our Angel in heaven.
