Our heartfelt sympathy to you Marlene and your family.  I have such strong memories of Aunt Edna, always interested in what I was doing and always offering us her wonderful treats, especially her coveted raspberry and blueberry pies! But she would never tell us where her picking spot was! We felt so welcome every time we visited.  Great memories.

Marlene, I remember collecting raspberries with your mom at the cottage and those delicious pies that came afterwards, while playing monop with Dolores!  Good times, good memories.  I'm thinking of you and your family at this time.  My sincere condolences.

Edna, I remember when Richard was working one Thanksgiving and I was missing my family, you came and picked me up to take me to Marlene & Andy's and when I said it was ok I would be fine at home you let me know that was a dumb idea and why wouldn't I go somewhere to be with friends and have a good dinner and you would have the company for the ride…..we chatted all the way, I don't know about what but I know I smiled, and it felt very nice….. that memory often comes back at Thanksgiving.  Thank you for letting me be a part of your life's journey.

Our Edna was the matriarch of all the cousins (and there were a lot of us) of the Zeleski clan. 
We all looked up to her for advice and guidance and her door was always open to all of us.
No matter how life changes we will always have a special place in our hearts and memories of Edna.

Deepest and heartfelt condolences to you Marlene, Andy, Marta and Chris.  Auntie Edna lived a long and eventful life and she is now in peace.  I always look back with happiness at all the family get-togethers, dinners and holiday celebrations at Auntie Edna's houses over the years and visits to her cottage as a child(my first cottage experiences!!).  She always laid a great spread and worked tirelessly to make those occassions something to remember.  I did enjoy being an observer during the many CONVERSATIONS betweeen Edna and my Dad (Les Sr.).  Most them were memorable and Edna wasn't shy about delivering her opinions!  It was a pleasure seeing her and help her celebrate her 90th birthday, it put a smile on her face.  I just have to say I can't forget her meat-sticks (WOW!) and we really appreciate you, Marlene, for carrying on these great traditions and working just as hard as Auntie Edna did over the years to keep family and tradition close to the heart and making us feel always welcome(and your meat sticks are just as good!).  All of you, take care.  Thoughts and prayers are with you.
