Elvina Goes

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Menino Benedicto Goes. Cherished mother to Fredrick and his wife, Yvette Goes Susie and her husband, Rocky Vaz. Loving nana to Samantha (Derek), Gavin, Clayton (Sheena), Amanda (Rob), Derek (Liz) and great grandmother to Owen, Eleanor, Quinn, Aubrey, Leila, Theodore, Ava, Lincoln, Marcus and Miles. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her niece, nephew, their families and all her extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Elvina will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Andrews Community Funeral Centre - Bramalea Chapel, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, ON L6T5N9, followed by a visitation from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

The Chain

We knew little that morning, God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide.

And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems to be the same.

But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
