Peacefully, in the early hours of Monday, June 5, 2023 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of Terry (2006) and loving mother to Karen Alger (Alan Norsworthy) and Cathy (Zenon) Todorski. Cherished Nana to Amanda Alger, Benjamin Todorski and Sarah (Brent) Parant. Mom loved working and maintained many friendships beyond retirement. She was a longtime member of the United Church Women, and in her leisure enjoyed knitting, gardening, tai chi and line dancing. The family are grateful for the compassionate care provided with warmth and kindness by the staff of The Brant Centre, Burlington where mom resided for the past 11 years. Private family arrangements have been made. Contributions in Gert's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
