Harvey Peter Williams

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harvey Peter Williams on March 26, 2025, at the age of 81. Harvey was born on February 26, 1944, and lived a life marked by hard work, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to his family. With more than 40 years on the road, Harvey found comfort and pride in the dependable nature of his trucking career.

He was the beloved husband of Shirley Williams (nee MacLean) for 55 years, and a proud father to Shawna Williams and Jason Williams (Marnie), grandfather to Kyle Thain (Jaydan), Shelby Thain and Brittany Williams, and great-grandfather to Crew Thain and Ford Thain. He is also survived by his brother, Arlyne (Terry) and preceded by brother Ray and sister Heather. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Harvey will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for his family. He brought joy to all who knew him with his infectious smile, sense of humor, and caring nature.

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12pm -1pm, at Andrews Community Funeral Centre - Bramalea Chapel, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, ON. A Celebration of Harvey’s life will take place in the Chapel of the funeral home at 1 pm.

Harvey will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
