Ian was a pilot who loved my sister carol with all his heart. Sad he has gone.  Miss all of my family . Wish they were all ok.  Wish they would let me be part of the family. Instead of the trans outcast.

Ian was one of those friends i like to call fast friends....the moment i walked into his store i knew just by the way he greets you, I met Ian in 2001, but unfortunately never had the pleasure of meetimg Carol, i'll never walk into another dart store again and feel the same ian will be sadly missed, one of the many things he taught me was to forget about the dart thats already thrown because if its crappy you can never get it back, so make the next one count......Ian is one of those select people that once you have met him you'll never forget him.....R.I.P my friend.

Ian was always an inspirational man to talk with, not just about darts, but all things in life and will be sadly missed. Carol, I am sorry for your loss and wish you all the comfort in the good memories.

While I did not know Ian long, he was always a gentlemen with me and l will miss seeing him in the store and just chatting about darts.  RIP

My heart goes out to the Collett family, Ian was a mentor to myself and a brilliant man. I am saddened with his loss and darts on monday nights wont be the same without him. He will be missed by many.

Ian was a remarkable human being and will be greatly missed.  For some things there are no words, only shoulders to lean on, hands to hold and hugs to comfort. Our prayers are with you Carol and your family during this difficult time.  With most deepest sympathy, remember that when your heart seems empty, fill it with happy memories to help you find your smile! ?

Grandpa you will be truly missed. I still can not believe how quickly you were taken away from us. One of the things I will miss the most is your laugh, it was so infectious and you would feel the need to laugh along because of the crazyness of your laughter. You were the one we turned to when we needed someone to build our Lego presents or my many Barbie cars or houses, which meant endless hours of you building stuff for your grandchildren but you did not mind because you always "had to have a go" when you were finished. I use to love going to your dart store play with everything possible.
I will miss you very very much Grandpa and love you always.

I am so sorry to hear of Ian's passing.  I will always remember him from Youth Darts. I had so much fun and his patience with us was remarkable!  Thanks to Ian I had the once in a life time chance to play Eric Bristow.  I have moved from the area but whenever I got home for a visit I always tried to stop into Double Top to say hi and listen to Ian's fabulous stories of darting in Brampton.  
My thoughts and prayers are with you Carol and your family.  Wish I could be there to remember him and celebrate his wonderful life.

For many years now Mary and I have traveled up to Toronto to to visit our daughter in Georgetown, most times twice a year.
I always made it a point to come and see you at the shop and we would talk for hours. Our memories off you will be much stronger as we travel to see our  daughter again. but inbetween you will always be in our memories.

I am so sorry to hear of Ian's passing.  He was a man of great character and strength.  He was always willing to lend a hand any time you needed it, and if I ever needed advice, I knew I could turn to him.  I will never forget how well Ian and Carol treated me when I moved to Brampton in 1994.  Many times, it was the highlight of my week to go and visit them at the shop.  Carol, Sherri and I send our heartfelt sympathies out to you and your family.  You can take comfort in knowing that Ian loved you all very, very much.  Carol, simply put, you meant the world to him.  I will miss him terribly.  RIP my friend.

Ian, you were my mentor when I played youth darts and continued into my adulthood. I'm going to miss our chats at the store- you will be sadly missed.
