Passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 16, 2014 at the age of 90 at Bethell House Hospice, Inglewood, ON. He is predeceased by his wife Ann (nee Chapman). He is survived by his son John Ronald Beckett, his daughter Linda Groll and son in law Ron Groll as well as his grand daughters Mindy Lisa Beckett and Shelley Ann Beckett and two great grandsons. He is also survived by his sister Olive Walker and brother Roy Beckett whom live in England along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation & Service will be held at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, Ontario 905-456-8190 on Sunday December 21, 2014 as follows: Visitation: 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., Service: 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. and after the service there will be coffee, tea and sandwiches served in the meeting room for anyone that wishes to stay and share memories.
