It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the Borg family announce the peaceful passing of Joseph Borg at Brampton Civic Hospital, on January 21, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer with family by his side throughout his final hours. Beloved husband of Pauline (nee Cassar) for 51 years. Loving father of Lorrie (Troy Adams) and Ryan Borg (Oksana). Cherished grandfather of Brooke, Owen and Avery. Survived by brothers and sisters. Joseph will be missed by many friends and his large extended family here and abroad. A funeral mass will be held at St. Leonard Parish Catholic Church, 187 Conestoga Dr, Brampton, ON., at 12pm on Thursday, January 26, 2017. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON. He was loved in life and will not be forgotten in death.
