Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Brampton at the age of 78. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of almost 60 years Russ. Beloved mother to Terry Link, Lauri Seagrave (Richard) and Michelle Harvey (Shane). Cherished grandmother to Meaghen Seagrave, Connor Seagrave, Emily Harvey and Liam Harvey. She is survived by her brother Ronald Dale. Predeceased by her parents Frank & Effie Dale.
Marilyn had a huge heart for all animals especially dogs, she also enjoyed feeding the neighbourhood birds, cats & squirrels.
She loved to shop and find a great bargain; she used these skills daily when she watched The Price is Right.
Collectibles were her thing; she loved collecting plates, spoons, figurines and all kinds of garden gnomes. She proudly displayed her treasures around her home.
Marilyn had a huge sweet tooth and loved chocolate and baking shortbread. If you went to visit you were guaranteed a multitude of choices of sweet things to eat.
Marilyn was an avid reader (especially Harlequin Romance Novels) and loved to test her knowledge watching Jeopardy.
She had a passionate dislike of telemarketers and was not afraid to tell them so!
Marilyn loved to play Bingo and we are sure that Bingo Country will miss her weekly contributions.
Marilyn also sold Avon in her neighbourhood for many years and enjoyed meeting new customers many of which turned into lifelong friends.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her loving family & beloved fur grandbabies Molly & Jackson, her extended family and friends.
