Dearest Auntie Christine, 
Today makes 15 years since you left us.   I pray that your soul rest in peace.  We miss you a lot and you are still remembered in so many of our conversations.   I often wonder what things would be like if you did not leave us at such a young age.   Words could not express what I feel every year on the 19th leading up to 1:20am on the 20th.   My heart still aches knowing that when you left your home in the back of the ambulance the way you kept looking at it.  It is almost like you were taking it all in because you knew that you were not ever going to go back.   
I miss you, the kids miss you.  Sorry we are not there to visit your resting place today, but you are in our hearts.   May you rest in peace!  love and miss u

Happy Birthday beautiful Auntie Christine.    I know the day was yesterday but the day just went so fast for me that I did not have the time to get on here to write.   Another year has gone by and u would of been 59 years old.  Wow.  Now you have another sister there with u.   Olinka and I talk almost every day and we were saying just how busy u guys must all be.  
I think of all the wonderful years we spent together and I always try to keep the memory of you and everyone else alive.   If there is anything I have learned from all you guys leaving this earth so quickly is that life is short just live it.  That is what I have been trying to do.  We all went home to Trinidad for Christmas because my mom always had that wish to do so.  It was so much fun.  The kids enjoyed it very much.  So much has changed for us and it often makes me so sad that u are not here with mom to celebrate with us.   
We think of u all the time and even thou it will be nine years your beautiful soul has left us, your memory still remains in my heart and mind.

To my auntie 
Today is your birthday and another year has gone by.  You would of been 58 years old today.  It makes me sad how you worked so hard and never got to enjoy your golden years.   It never cease to amaze me how simply life can change for someone with the blink of an eye.  I think of you often and wonder how things would of been if you were still here.  I wonder what you would of thought of the kids.  Jessey and I were out walking the dog a few nights ago and I told him your birthday was coming up.  He said wow she would of been 58.  He somehow kept track of the years or maybe I always talk about you with them and always say how long it has been.  I asked him if he remembered you and he said yes and started to whistle.  His whistle is so much more powerful now at the age of twelve.  I think you would of loved them both.  Jade still misses you.  She has had way too much dealings with loosing people she loves.  This year gone by was probably the worst and hardest year for her.  We all ball it up trying to cope with it on a daily basis.  I now have all three women who raised me gone from my life and somehow all I have left is my children, Aaron and Jeff.  Oh you would of loved Evelina.  She is so cute.  Aaron calls her his baby that he gets to send Home at the end of the day.  So much has changed.  I often feel orphaned because my dad is so far away.  But that's okay I have all you beautiful angels looking down on us.  So celebrate in style.  Your sister's last entry on this wall was for your birthday.  She loved you to pieces and now she is with you.  Happy birthday my dearest Aunt.  You are forever missed always remembered and always loved.

Oct 12 my wedding anniversary and five years ago we got the dreadful news that night from Dr Grey that u had clusters of tumours in your brain.  I cannot believe it is now five years later.  Time goes on and life goes on and there is never a day that I don't think of u.  I know that people move on but the memory of that night remains as clear to me as he night u slipped away from your life and my life.  I still miss u everyday and wish that I could just come home from a busy day and u would call to talk and say how the children doing.  Well the children are doing just fine.  They still talk about u, especially when the cardinal flies around in our yard they think it is your spirit.  Your little whistling fella is not so little anymore but he still remembers u.  Jade still talks about u and misses you.  Life goes on but u are never forgotten and u will always hold a special place in our hearts.  Love u and miss forever

I think of you every day.  Even thou it has been four years it still feels like yesterday.  Wish I could talk to u again.  The kids are growing so quickly.  Mom and I were telling Jade last week that u would of gotten her, her  Christmas dress around this time for Christmas.  We buy her the dress every year now  and I always think that was one of your presents to her every year.  We left a trophy at your grave because Jessey wanted to say thanks for giving him that opportunity to play the sport that he so loves.  We all miss u dearly.  No amount of years can go by where I will forget u.  U are not replaceable and never forgotten.

Thank you Carol for your kind words.  She left us way too soon  and I miss her everyday.  I actually just got a copy of her wedding video when I was in Trinidad a month ago, but I do not have the strength to look at it yet.  My only console for her leaving us so soon , is that she is no longer suffering from that horrible illness.  Thank u again Carol for you kind words!

To Christine's family..I used to be her friend  for many years in in Trinidad.I also attended her wedding.Always wondered what happened to her..Didn't know until now.I am so sorry she has gone too soon.God knows best.Be strong and hold on to those memories.

Christine…Its 3 years since you have been taken to a better place 

I've always believed in my heart, you were put on this earth for a short time to serve a purpose.  That purpose, ended 3years ago.  I never want to cry…but sometimes, tears just flow.  I pull myself together thinking of the times when we attended prayer group, how you would look at me during prayer when I would cry when we prayed for you.  You knew you were not going to be with me for long.  You just couldn't tell me

Christine I look at you as my mirror that is always shining back at me.  You see me at my worst and best and now you are gone, you have never yet looked away from me.   There are days when I feel your presence stronger with me than other days which is a wonderful feeling …this is when I tell myself “you are looking over me and you want me to always be happy, not sad”.

Girl, you were my youngest sister, but I've always look at you being wiser beyond your years.  I think of you all the time …no words can describe all the many good things you allowed to happen in my life today.  Thank you girl!!  This Christmas, you will be missed as always, and always but your presence will never leave me or us ..as I will put it.

It seems like yesterday you called me and tried to say goodbye in a subtle way.  When I asked how are you said okay.  Chris I know you are well in God's kingdom, every time I dream you, you are so happy and you always smile. Dearest Auntie Christine,  tomrw will make it three years since you have been gone.  I visited your grave today because all the memories of that day three years ago keeps playing in my mind. Dearest Auntie Christine today I celebrated my 39th bday, it is my third bday without u.  I miss hearing ur voice telling me happy bday.  I knew u called me several times on my bday the year u died, but I was sort of missing in action so to speak.  Really I knew that it was my last bday with u and I did not know how to deal with it.  The next day u gave me my present and I told u don't let this be the last present u ever give me and the last of my bday u will be here for.  You know the rest.  I wish u were still here to wish me happy birthday.  I know u are not sick where u are and happy, but I wish there was a phone number to heaven where I could call u.  I know better.  The kids are good, they miss u and talk about u all the time.  U are always in our hearts and especially when it is thunder and lightening Jessey thinks u are bowling in heaven.  I don't tell him any different because that's his way of knowing u are there.  So another birthday and another year to add to my life.  I know I am blessed!  I only wish we had more time. Happy Thanksgiving auntie Christine.  Three years ago my life changed forever on this weekend, when you fell really Ill, and the downward spiral began. Christine… I said to myself I was not going to write anything for my 60th b'day to you.  I told everyone in advance I did not want to have any big celebration because to me, it would not be something I want to celebrate without you.  I thought of you a lot more than ever on my b'day…..past reflections when you were alive but couldn't believe my eyes to see what you wanted me to have on my 60th b'day.  It was “Phenomenal”.  I was shocked and very emotional.  Thank you for remembering me on this special day…I always believe in my heart you are watching over me.  I remember you telling me to “ think highly of myself, and that's what I did and always do”. I did have an excellent 60th  b'day and it feels good to be 60 …strong and healthy with God's grace every day.  

It's wonderful how you thought of me Girl !!!!

Hey Christine...summer is over and everywhere I went, I thought of you and how we would have been going different places together shopping and laughing etc. On my work this morning, I was having breakfast in the lunchroom looking outside and thinking of you. Just then, a lovely white bird feather 5" long circled from above (amazing to see how it was circling) it took some time to land on the ground by a door where I was standing and all I told myslef was "Christine! I know you are here with me". I opened the door,picked it up and placed it on my desk on an angel you gave me.  It was so beautiful to see. I miss you girl and miss you whenever we are at Dinelle's home..you will always be in my heart forever

Another year has gone by and Jade was nine yesterday.  We took her out for her birthday, and a friend of mine made her a yummy cake. I came to know you through Christine and since then you have become close to my parents and by extension us.  Prior to this occurrence I grew us with Christine as a sister and her entire family as very close friends/family.  I am sorry this has occurred and I know it must be hard because most of the times Christine laughed off any negative vibe or feeling in the setting.  Christine was truly a unique person and may God continue to bless and take care of her and may you not only remember all the good times you all had as a couple but also the times with the extended family and friends who will be there when you need them.  

Also remember what she would want you do with the rest of your life, to enjoy it I'm sure and portray her happy spirit.  And may the happiness you found with her continue to blossom in your life!

A new year is upon us and it is so hard to believe that you are gone.  I missed u dearly this Christmas.  Jade gets upset all the time, she misses you so much.  I got a wonderful present from you this Christmas from Uncle Robert.  I will treasure it always your bible, and I will use it in my good and bad times.  Jade loves the gift u bought her when she was little, he gave it to her just before Christmas.  She looks at it every night, and keeps it close to her pillow.  You are never forgotten and you are always remembered.  I miss you Happy New Year!

I put up my xmas tree and couldn't keep back the tears..as you would always walk into my house and seeing the xmas tree will say "it looks pretty".. Christine..I remember the last Christmas Eve we spent together 2009..will never forget when I served you the shrimps and they fell off the glass ..we laughed about it. This is how I will remember you during the Christmas season and even while putting up my decorations. I will miss you very,very much this Christmas and all Christmases to come. On November 20,2010 you said your goodbye to this world to join your Heavenly Father.  Our hearts ached to say goodbye our tears still flow and you remain in our hearts, as November 20, 2011 draws near we go down memory lane and remember all the times we were together, all the times we led worship in church and all the fun visits to Gulf City etc.  Your memory will never die, you will live in our memories for as long as God permits us to be alive. See you when God decides to bring us home in the land that is fairer than day.

Christine..This time of the year, I kept thinking of how you fell ill and had the courage to go through the sufferings you endure.  It replays all the time in my mind..I miss you and I know your presence is always with me keeping me strong. I will never ever forget you, for you will always be in my heart..I know you are not suffering anymore and is in a better place.. Rest in peace girl!!
