My deepest sympathies to the Andrew Family. I met Thelma at Woodbridge Nursing Home while visiting  my husband. She was a funny loving lady. Always had beautiful colourful tops which I complimented her.  It was a pleasure having met her.   May she Rest In Peace

Growing up as neighbours back in Ceylon and spending so much time at your home when I came to Canada almost made me one of the family and I will always appreciate the kindness that was extended to me by Thelma. I have many fond memories of Aunty Thelma from my childhood and throughout the years.  She was a bright and witty part of any family occasions I saw her at, and my dear mother was a HUGE fan of hers.  Their giggles were loud and would not go unnoticed. Her laughter was so infectious.  
I was fortunate enough to visit Aunty Thelma pre-Covid, at the home she was in, and I'm so grateful for that opportunity and for those last laughs with her.  
RIP and keep laughing Aunty Thelma...   I can hear you from here.

We were blessed to enjoy meeting Thelma at the many celebrations of our son Jonathan’s marriage  to Annie.  

Then many times during the past years we met Thelma to enjoy her smile and laughter as we celebrated special dates with the family.

90 years of happiness with a wonderful family is a true blessing.



On behalf of the whole Morrow family we express our deepest condolences to all of her family. Growing up we have very found memories of her kindness and spirit! She always had time for us kids and her personality was that honesty and love for everyone.  I remember mostly how she would put my father in his place with a smile and then laugh. She was a very special person.  Love from all of us. 

I am saddened at the loss of my dear friend Thelma.  I have known Thelma since April 1969. Thelma and Benedict were very kind to Francis and myself when we first arrived in Canada.  They offered us a place in their home and treated us very kindly even though we had just met. Thelma was always full of life and had a great sense of humour.  Thelma along with Benedict worked hard and supported their family of 6.  Always enjoyed our trips St. Anne De Beaupre, to the Fatima Shrine and Martyr's Shrine.  Our future trips will never be the same without Thelma.  Rest in Peace dear Thelma.  You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

My beautiful Nana gave us all so much in her 90 years on this earth. She was a selfless and giving Mother, Wife, Nana, Aunty and friend who brought so much joy to those around her. She was relentlessly funny, you were often the butt of her joke. But she was also very kind. So kind and so nurturing. I'm grateful to have had her in my life. Rest in peace Nana, I'll love you forever.

Aunty Thelma you were that person in my life that made me feel many things. As a child you were this larger than life person who commanded an army! You were always prepared to feed an army too! I loved to come to your house as you always had butter for my toast -not margarine.  And always seem to make tripe curry for my Dad.  You made your mark on me as child when you came to feed me ice cream in the hospital when I had my tonsils out. You were the super Aunty who took time for me.  When Lee came along in my life to accepted him wholeheartedly an made him feel welcome to our family. Thank you for also impacting the lives of my son's Aaron and Chris who loved to come to your place to visit and eat some on Aunty's curry with a large glass of milk. You are greatly missing but forever loved and remembered in our hearts.

My deepest sympathies to all of you. I remember aunty Thelma as a happy go lucky person she had a good sense of humor and always smiling. I remember our times in the weekends when we came to visit as young teens she always gave us a warm welcome and treated us as family. We will miss you. RIP God Blessings

Growing up as one of Thelma's many grandchildren, you truly experienced how loving and nuturing she was.  A sweet and small Nana. 

Nana prided herself on her cooking and feeding anyone who walked through her door.  She had an amazing ability to prepare a meal for a huge amount of people in short order and made it seem effortless.

As we grew older and bolder, we learned fast that such a sweet and small Nana was NOT to be underestimated!  This was especially true at the dinner table where you had better be doing more eating than talking! 

Nana had wit that could drive bursts of laughter from an entire room of people.   This was my favourite part of her.  She enjoyed laughter in life and loved to see people laughing and smiling.

I enjoyed every second of our time together.  I will miss you.  Rest in peace, I love you.

Thelma Andrew's was like a mother to me. She always made sure I had something to eat and drink when I visited. She always had a smile and had a great sense of humor. 
I will definitely miss her dearly.  Rest in Peace Aunty Thelma.
