Theresa Green (nee McKinley), fondly known as Terrie, passed peacefully at her home in Toronto on Saturday, October 23rd quietly listening to Gordon Lightfoot. Terrie left behind a loving husband for 66 years, George Green, her two wonderful daughters Georgia (Green) and Virginia (Adams) and her beautiful granddaughters, Josie and Charlie Adams, a very special brother-in-law, Rod Green, cousin MaryLou Hall, and her niece, Cheryl Meyers. Family and friends will remember her as a beautiful, intelligent woman who always made an entrance, a lover of music and classic literature, and an unwavering ability to work hard and take care of everyone else at the same time. Immeditate family will be honouring her with a tree planting burial. As a survivor of breast cancer, donations would be welcome on her behalf to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Operation Smile Canada, of which she was particularly supportive.
