Tom went to his heavenly home on August 29th, 2013. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Betty (nee Blundon), his sister Elsie, and brother Charlie. He was predeceased by his brothers George and Victor, and sisters Yuriko, Mary and Frances. Tom was born on March 22nd, 1925, in Cumberland, B.C., and came to Toronto after WWII. Eventually, he owned and operated Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner Store for forty years. Tom loved seeing new places, meeting new people, and driving their motorhome across North America. Tom will be greatly missed by Betty, their niece Diana Morgan, his birthday buddy, Joan Pehar, and by family and friends in Ontario, Alberta, Newfoundland, Maine and Florida. Family and friends will be received at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, Monday, Sept. 2nd, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Brampton Church of the Nazarene, 68 Rutherford Road, Tuesday, Sept. 3rd, at 3:00 p.m., with viewing one hour prior. Reception following. Cremation and private interment at a later date.
