It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William on April 8 2012 at Leisure World in Brampton, Ontario. Married for 55 years to Betty. Loving father to Carolyn (William) and Elizabeth (James). Devoted Grandpa to Sheila (Christopher), Craig, Kristy, and Jamie. Cherished Great Grandpa to Kayleigh and Samuel. He will be missed by many friends and family. Willie saw the humour in everything, he was an avid gardener, loved playing the drums, singing in choirs and woodworking. Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, Ontario, north of Steeles) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of William’s life in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m.
