Albert Floyd Carlisle

CARLISLE, Albert Floyd 91, of Seffner, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was born in Opp, Alabama and lived most of his life in Florida. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.

Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Carlisle; son, Edward Carlisle; father, Roy Persey Carlisle; mother, Lula Mae Frazier Carlisle; brother, Ronnie Carlisle. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Carlisle; daughter, Patricia Carlisle; sons, Doug Carlisle, Larry Carlisle (Tammy), Ken Carlisle (Tammy); stepdaughters, Peggy Milton (Rod), Sandy Urquhart (Herb), Cathy Hatton (Rick), Jean Campbell (Barry); brother, Loyd Carlisle (Esther), sister, Dorothy Durrance (Charles), brother, Horace Carlisle (Patricia), sister, Linda Hanson and many nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and their families;

Floyd retired from Hinkle and McCoy in 1992. He was a hard worker who loved his children and grandchildren, his church, and gardening. He served his church as deacon, Sunday school superintendent

and teacher.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2018, at First Baptist Church, 216 Parsons Ave., Brandon, with family receiving friends one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to LifePath Hospice.
