Alden Erwin Perkins, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, in Tampa, FL. At the age of 77 October 15, 2025. Alden is survived by his wife of 43 years Leslie Perkins. Daughter Tricia VanVaerenbergh (David) - Daughter Traci Hagan (Greg) - Daughter Kristie Jordan - Son Robert Horan (Tonya). 11 Grandkids, 16 Great-Grandkids. Preceded in death by his Father, Mother and 2 brothers.
Alden was born in Tampa, FL and graduated from Brandon High School 1966. Alden had a long and successful business in heavy equipment, APEQUIP. Alden loved his family and was passionate about fishing and hunting. He Alden, was Member of Royal order of Jesters Court 89, Egypt Shriner, and Member of Scottish Rite of Tampa 32nd degree. Alden's personality was larger than life and loved by all. Alden's funeral service and celebration of life is scheduled Wednesday October 22, 2025, visitation 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, a service will follow at 2pm. Interment will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens on the same property. With a small reception of friends and family to follow. The family would like to thank you all for your love and prayers during these upcoming difficult days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital Fund.
