Anne Lowery

Anne (Byrd) Lowery, 63, of Brandon FL, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2019. She passed away peacefully at her home after a long illness, and was surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born in Tampa, FL on September 2,1955, the daughter of the late Raymond Byrd and Mary (Taylor) Byrd. She received her B.A. in Mathematics and Accounting, and was the recipient of the National Who’s Who award. She was the proud owner of Anne Lowery Tax Services in Tampa, FL. She also ran a parrot rescue for 35 years from her home, and was active in rescue at the time of her death. She loved to travel and was an active shopper. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mary. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Knarski of Brandon; her son Gary Stanley; daughter Mandy Rivera of Pasco County; adopted son Vincent Riverol of Seffner; step-daughter Elisa McBride of Arrey, NM; sister Cathy Moody and her husband Jessie of Evergreen, AL; sister Bonnie Murphy and her husband Roger of Norway, ME; brother Timmy Byrd and his wife Linda of Seffner; sister Nancy Gancedo of Norway, ME; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind 7 feathered friends TK, AJ, Maddie, Pete, Joe, Rio and San Pedro. Thank you to John Lebron, Pete Hardy and to all of her family, friends and also her clients from the tax office.

A special thank you to Joe Hobson, who was a special and very dear close friend and business partner for the past 30 years, being her rock when she needed it.

Visitation will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon FL from 1:00pm-2:00pm followed by a graveside service.
