Anton David Bommersbach, 76, entered into rest October 20, 2018. Anton David is first born son of Anton John Bommersbach and Rosa Katherine Olig Bommersbach. His early years were spent in Fairmount and Hankiinson, N.D., Dave attended Saint Francis Academy in Hankinson and he served honorably in the US Army. Contractor career kept him busy and he was quite the creative problem solver.
He is survived by five children, Anton Alvin of Varna, Ill., Barbara Ann of Peshtigo, Wis., Mark Alan of Valrico, Fla., Debra Kay of Tenn., Cindy Faye of Tampa, Fla.; four sisters, Susan Marie of Cummings, N.D., Joyce Margaret of Richfield, Minn., Karen Eileen of Ocala, Fla., Mary Beth of Cummings, N.D.; three brothers, Steven Michael of Watertown, S.D., Charles Herman of Hillsboro, N.D., Martin John of Hankinson, N.D.; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; multiple extended family members and best friend, Harry.
Dave is proceeded in death by parents, Anton John and Rosa Katherine Bommersbach; grandparents, Herman and Margarette Olig, Martin and Caroline Bommersbach; sister, Marcia Rose; brothers, Daniel Joseph, baby James Francis; and nephew, Christopher.
Anton David loved his kids, grands, great-grands, his country, horses, boats, gardening, guitars, Andy of Mayberry and his gun collection. Dave loved the best he could...as we all do.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2018 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in Florida National Cemetery.
