Betty Whitehurst Parsons, 87, born in Tampa on February 26, 1934, greeted by her Lord Jesus Christ, and welcomed home to heaven on Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James E. Parsons, and her parents Elbert B. and Colee Y. Whitehurst and brother Thomas Whitehurst.
Betty was an active member of East Chelsea Baptist Church, she served in numerous roles throughout the years. She loved working as a bookkeeper at First National Bank. Betty organized all her Hillsborough high School reunions. Further Betty loved spending time with family and friends over Sunday suppers.
Betty is survived by her daughters Linda and Brenda, grandchildren, James, Leeann, Nathan, great grandchildren, Jarred, Austin, DJ, Alexis, Eva and Aiden; brother Elbert Whitehurst and Sister Shirley Hayden.

Visitation and Graveside service will begin at 1PM., Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Hillsboro Memorial located in Brandon with Pastor Raymond James officiating.
