

She was married and widowed to Roman Alvarado. She was the mother of seven children, grandmother of 13 grandchildren and a great-grandmother. She had 11 siblings. She was an Air Force wife, housewife, babysitter, and enjoyed going to church, caring for children and cooking for family and friends. Carmen suffered the loss of 2 children sons, Roberto and Jose Antonio. She is survived by her five children, Norma Wilmot (spouse, Greg Wilmot), Carmen Stinson (spouse, James Stinson), Yolanda Shultz (spouse, Thomas
Shultz, Lydia Alvarado, and Javier Alvarado (spouse, Nancy Scott). She will be missed by Her grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her friends. She was grateful to have her niece Maria "Ramonita" who visited her every week at Brisas Del Caribe ALF where she was cared for with great compassion. Her last days were spent with Accent care Hospice where she received palliative care.

A celebration of life for Carmen will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
