Carolyn is survived by her husband, Lewis Raymond Mitchell Sr.; children, Tammy Sprouse, Tressa Cannon, Lewis Raymond Mitchell Jr., Virgil Gary Mitchell, Angel Redd; brother, Robert Holmes; nineteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, her brother, Donald Holmes, preceded Carolyn in death.
Carolyn was the life of the party, and she brought joy with her wherever she went. She enjoyed fishing, watching football and spending time with her family.
