Cecil S Daugherty

DAUGHERTY, Cecil Stephen, 86 of Brandon, Florida, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2013. He was born on September 18, 1926 in Baryties, Missouri, and married Marion Lee Johnson, deceased November 20, 1987 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Fredericktown, MO. on October 11, 1952. He is survived by his three children Barbara Bricker, Paul Daugherty, and Martha Kuczynski; grandchildren, Jason Kuczynski, David Kuczynski, Stephanie Kuczynski, Jennifer Bricker, Thomas Daugherty, and Stephen Daugherty; brothers, Michael Daugherty, Joseph Daugherty; and sisters, Sr. Marie Daugherty, Helen Sanders, and Lucy Daugherty. Cecil rode his bicycle over 20,000 miles a year until five years ago, was a veteran of WWII , an electrical engineer, oldest living member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, worked on Apollo and Skylab missions, a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and neighbor, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass in Fredericktown MO. at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Visitation will be 8-10 a.m. at the church prior to the Mass.
