BURNETT, Charles, 83, of Riverview entered into rest April 16, 2015. Charles retired from Tampa Cold Storage after 35 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict. Charles enjoyed helping his neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Stella Burnett; siblings, Clara Rayburn, Agnes Johnson, Loretta Baldwin, Virginia Pelphrey, Bob Burnett. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Doris; sons, Charles Joey Burnett (Debbie), Jackie Burnett (Phyllis); daughter, Kathy Mixon (Chuck); grandson, Christopher; brothers, Calvin Coolidge Burnett, James Ezra Burnett; sister, Sarah Lou Burton. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2014 at Stowers Funeral Home.
