Born on December 3, 1951, in Tampa, Mike lived a full life centered on family, hard work, and simple joys. He spent his career with Johnson Controls Incorporated before retiring and enjoying the slower pace of life on his beloved property, affectionately known as “the farm.”
Mike was a proud father to Kimberly Rogers, Cristelle Paige, Jefferson “Mike” Paige, and Chancey Moran. His legacy continues through his many grandchildren: Courtney Scotto, Harley Rogers, Wesley Rogers, Alex Johnston, Brian Christine, Arianna Paige, Elijah Waller, Aiden Waller, Jefferson “JJ” Paige Jr., Charles “Charlie” Paige, Mason Paige, MaKynzie Edwards, Samuel “Sammy” Edwards, Ayla Moran, and Thaddeus Moran, and through his six great-grandchildren. He is reunited in peace with his dad, Charles J. Paige, mom, Mary Bussert, brother, Dennis Hancock, sister, Carol “Sue” Johnston and, grandson, William Paige, who passed before him.
Those who knew Mike will remember his appreciation for a good story and a great food. He found joy in the company of loved ones and the comfort of his home, which served as a gathering place for countless memories.
A celebration of life will be held at “the farm,” his home, on Saturday, June 21st at 12:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to come together to share stories, and laughter—the way Mike would have wanted.
He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
