Charlotte Kay Fletcher, 84, of Gibsonton, Florida, passed away on February 6, 2024. She was born on July 4, 1939, in Charleston, West Virginia. Charlotte was a beloved wife to David E. Fletcher, a loving mother to D. Michael Fletcher and Deborah Fletcher, and a cherished grandmother to David M. Fletcher.
The majority of Charlotte's career was spent as a registered nurse, including working for 20 years at Centro Asturiano Hospital in Ybor City. She also worked in the family business as a real estate broker. Charlotte was an accomplished organist and shared her talents by playing the organ and piano in several area churches. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Brandon Outreach Free Clinic and Resource Center, and an active member of the Alafia River Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Charlotte was also a certified genealogist.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 15 at 1 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, located in Brandon, Florida.
