A proud graduate of Saint Leo University, Cristine earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Science with dedication and distinction. During her time there, she became a cherished member of the Alpha Alpha chapter of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/ Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc, where she built lifelong bonds and embodied the values of hermandad, service, and strength.
With unwavering courage and a deep sense of duty, Cristine served our country as a firefighter in the United States Army. Her bravery, resilience, and compassion touched the lives of all who served beside her. She was a protector by nature—whether in uniform, at home, or within her community.
Above all, Cristine was a devoted fiance and loving mother. Her light shone brightest in the joy she brought to her family, and the fierce love she gave so freely. As a mother, she gave endlessly- her daughter was the heart of her world and, she nurtured her with patience, wisdom, and grace, she was a guiding star to her daughter. As a fiance, she was a loyal partner and best friend, building a life of warmth and shared dreams, a pillar of support.
As a daughter and sister, she brought joy and laughter into her family, always there with a listening ear, a caring heart, and a comforting presence. Her twin bond was something truly special—deep, intuitive, and beautifully unique.
Her infectious laughter, warm hugs, and generous spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Cristine leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and honor that will live on in all who knew her.
She is survived by her fiance, Justin Kellman, daughter, Harmony Kellman, parents, Eddie & Jeanette Gonzalez, twin sister, Justine Gonzalez, grandmother, Gloria Vega, grandfather Reynaldo Sharpe, grandmother, Daisy Garcia Gonzalez, grandfather Adiel Soto Gonzalez, and a wide circle of family, friends, and fellow soldiers who will carry her memory with them always.
