D'arcy was an angel God sent to earth to love all who crossed her path, even a few who betrayed her.  She forgave and prayed for them.
I met her as a customer at Waffle House in Seffner.
 It would always be her section I looked for..as she had a genuine smile, and always perfect customer service.
One of her loyal customers, Charlie Lane, was my daughter's God parent. When he passed not long ago, it was D'arcy & me trying to get a breakfast memorial set up for him because of the  virus attendance restrictions at his funeral.
 (I suppose she is serving folks angel food cake now!)
From that point, we became friends. D'arcy did her best to help me train for a server in another location.
D'arcy loved her Mike better than the sliced pound cake at Bob Evans & Martha's cheese sticks!
She could hardly wait for the new grandbaby..She adored her children and always worried about their best.

When I didn't hear from her on Sunday, I knew it was going to be bad news when I called Mike.
All I did Monday was cry..
When I awoke Tuesday morning, immediately I had an open vision of what she looks like now in her new & perfect body in Heaven.
It was a comfort to me, and I knew it was meant to be shared.
Vision:
She was walking towards my car where I was parking, like she did  when we were going to have a bite to eat.
She was smiling as she walked gracefully & very happy!
D'arcy was slim  & looked like she was in her 20's...wore a stylish straw wide round brim straw hat...BUT..she had beautiful natural hair to her shoulders. She was wearing a white blouse, light weight White Cardigan..3 qtr. length sleeves, stylishly pushed up to the elbows.
She wore a burnt orange/red skirt to her knees.  She was so happy, saying, look at me..I am looking good!
That was the message of the dream for everyone who loved her..she is very happy in Heaven, and feels great.
It can't fix our missing her, but she wants us to know she is okay Y'all ❤️


I met D'arcy in 1969, She was dating Mike and we became instant friends. She was such a joyful young lady to hang out with, always smiling. One of Our favorite songs we sang together was: Mr. Big Stuff and of course it was aimed at Mike. But somehow God chose to keep those two together and it made me happy to see it all work out for them. We haven't seen much of each other over the last few years but when I'd stop by the Seffner Waffle House she would be there with a Hug and a Smile. I will miss you Gal, See you on the other side.

When I moved to Florida and came to unit 1627, Miss D'arcy was the first bright and welcoming face that I came across, as she was the trainer for orientation. 
I worked beside her for almost 2 years.
She taught me no matter what happens, you keep on pushin.
 Such a wonderful woman and a loving soul.
I talked to you a couple of weeks ago and caught up with you. 
You and your family will always be in my prayers!! I will miss you Momma Darcy!!

Mrs. Darcy " Momma D" was the first person I met when I came up here in 2016. I transferred from another Waffle House but yet she was warm and welcoming as a team member and tried to make me feel at home. I would always play on the jukebox "Georgia" by Ray Charles whenever I worked with her. Also, I would play the " Georgia state Bulldogs" fight song even though I think she was a gators fan. 

Darcy, We just talked through messages a few days ago. You ask for me to come see you and I never got a chance. I am so sad 😞I didn't make it. You will definitely be MISSED by so many people 😢 For many years we were friends and you were always a loving, kind,  good-hearted lady!! Always so up beat no matter what was happening in your life. I am so sad for your passing, I know HEAVEN has a new ANGEL 😇!!! Keep them laughing up there.🙂

D'Arcy was always so nice and had the biggest heart. When I started at the waffle hpuse on mlk she loved me like she own and treated me like a mom would she was always there for me and I enjoyed see and learning how she was loved so much by a whole entire community not just Waffle House but Seffner everybody knew who she was when she came in the door she made everybody feel welcome so many for customers are friends are still some of mine I'd have shoes for a wedding Darcy went home and brought me five pairs of shoes to pick from I told me to keep them when I switched over to IHOP came to see me her and Mike it really meant the world to me does it matter what Waffle House or not we were still family I would love and miss you so much Darcy has so many many many people will too 

I have wonderful memories of Mrs Darcy. Her beautiful smile, her ways of making us laugh. Not to mention how she would start dancing from the music on the jukebox. She was a very loving, caring person that always wanted what was best for UNIT 1627. I will sincerely miss you Missy

Darcy  was a very good person i loved working with her. She had a heart of gold. She is going to be truly missed. She would call me margarita lol that was her name for me.

dracy was the kindness person i have ever met   if she cared about you  .   you were family not a friend  i will miss her always  when we were together we always had fun and always laughed

I always enjoyed working with Darcy she always made me laugh She was a great person and she had good waffle house spirit always decorating and wearing and wearing goofy stuff on her uniforms if you had Darcy as a friend or a family member you is one of the luckiest people on Earth Always miss you and love you Darcy I know she is looking at  us right now  saying hey yall it's so pretty here in heaven. 

Darcy is my best friend and in her words I was a sister she got to choose. We worked together for many years and she was always so much fun to be around definitely the life of the party. She and I always had so much to talk about and most the time we were talking about our children and grandchildren and God knows she loved her children and grandchildren and she was so excited about the newest grandbaby coming in December. Darcy was a beautiful soul with a heart of gold and she will live on in our hearts.

Darcy was an amazing woman… I remember once her and Mike at there barn where we boarded the horses mike and Darcy were trying to ride a Christmas tree lol,  always love to see her ride Pegasus on a trail it made her happy and she had such a smile. She will be missed

I have known and loved D’Arcy since I was 17 years old . My longest and truest friend. She was the sweetest, most genuine person! To know D’Arcy, was to love D’Arcy!! We worked together for 13 years when our children were young .  She had the biggest heart and she considered my kids and I as family . We were always there for each other. We always kept in touch. I don’t know how I would have made it without her help and love. I will miss her so much. Rest in Heaven D’Arcy. 

Ur contagious smile will be missed for a long time. U left such a beautiful mark in this world. The out pour of love people have for u is beautiful! I know u have the most beautiful wings to match ur smile! Until we meet again watch over us all. ESP destiny and ur grandbaby! We love u
