Known for his warmth, generosity, optimism, perseverance, and unwavering support, Dr. Dale Fischbach touched the lives of all who knew him. His legacy endures in the kindness he shared, the stories he told, the laughter he inspired, and the deep love he showed to his family, friends, animals, and community.
Dale was born on March 9, 1944, in Tennessee to George and Catheryn Fischbach. In 1952, he moved with his family to Lake Wales, Florida, where they founded Circle F Dude Ranch Camp—a place that would shape Dale’s life and values. It was there that his lifelong love of horses took root, becoming a defining passion and constant source of joy.
Dale graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine, reflecting his dedication to caring for animals and serving others. After graduation, he returned to work at Circle F in the summer of 1971, where he met the love of his life, Deniese Chandler. They married in 1972, and shared 45 wonderful years together, building a life rich with love, adventure, and family.
For 46 years, Dale practiced veterinary medicine in Brandon, Florida, where he founded Meadowrun Animal Hospital. Through his work, he touched countless lives—both two-legged and four-legged—earning the trust and gratitude of generations of clients. Dale and Deniese traveled the world together, but his favorite place was always home on the farm, riding horses, driving the tractor, or checking on the cattle.
Dale was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deniese Fischbach. He is survived by his devoted children, Reed (Kimberly) Fischbach, and Keely (James) Sanstead, as well as his treasured grandchildren, Dylan, Wyatt, Savannah, and Audrey, who will carry forward his spirit, values, and love.
May Dale rest in peace, surrounded by the enduring gratitude of all whose lives he so deeply enriched.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Dale’s honor on March 1st from 12:30–3:30 PM at 9012 Lithia Pinecrest Road, Lithia, Florida 33547. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather, share memories, and give tribute for a truly well lived life.
