

BEGLEY, Daniel Harry, 93, a resident of Apollo Beach, Florida, for 56 years, passed away on June 15, 2016. Dan, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, was a WWII B-24 Flight Engineer-Gunner, flew 35 combat missions and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal, with three oak leaf clusters. He was a sales representative for Hoffmann-La Roche pharmaceutical company for 25 years. He was a dedicated father of seven children, who enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He received a Private Pilot License in 1984 and was passionate about flying. He had a great sense of humor, loved by all, and will be sorely missed. His parents, Daniel and Stella Begley; his wife Dorothy; his son Danny; and his granddaughter Angel preceded Dan in death. He is survived by his 5 sons, 1 daughter and their spouses, Kathy Anderson (Danny’s wife), Steve (Tina), Keith (Becky), Mark, Mike (Bonnie), Scott and Doreen Tucker (Grant), 11 grandchildren, Heather Begley-Frost (Chris), Sheena, Steven, Kevin, Allison, Meagan, Ryan, Christopher, Austin, Brandon and Justin, step grandchild Alyssa and step great grandchildren Justin (Leslie) and Lily. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., with funeral service at 2:00 p.m., both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL. Burial to follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
