ENGELBERGER, Darien Reese, 11, of Valrico passed away September 3, 2011 at All Children’s Hospital. She attended preschool at Limona Village Chapel, and attended kindergarten through the fifth grade at Limona Elementary. Darien was entering the sixth grade at Mulrennan Middle School. She played basketball for the YMCA Lady Huskies and was active in Girl Scout Troop 1587. She was preceded in death by her sister, Brooke. She is survived by her father, Eric; mother, Deana; sister, Avery; paternal grandparents, Sharon and Vaughn Whitehead and Don and Momoko Engelberger; maternal grandparents, Judy Owens, and Tony and Dawn Davidge; paternal great-grandparents, Clint and Bea Walker; maternal great-grandparents, Al and Nancy Davidge; and several aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends 4-5 p.m., with a memorial service at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions for sick and terminally ill children may be made to the Scott Rolen’s Enis Furley Foundation, 2015 West Skyview Drive, Jasper, IN 47546.
