Darlene Ryder

Darlene was born on Long Island, NY to Helen and Emil Pidkameny on January 23rd, 1941. She went to school at Farmingdale, Ny.. She married Alfred Ryder on July 13th 1963 in Wyandanch, Ny.. She worked as a manager of a dry cleaning store for many years until her son, Bruce came along and at that time she left the workforce to become a full-time mother and homemaker. Darlene and Al were married 60 years on July 13th, 2023

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Gail Macnamara.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Alfred, son, Bruce, Sister Jayne Valdini, and grandchildren Gavin and Jessica, and many Nieces and Nephews

Visitation will be 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm Tuesday August 1st at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon. Funeral services will be held during that time. Father Ruiz will be officiating.

Burial will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery August 2nd at 10:30 am.

The family of Darlene wishes to extend our sincere thanks to St. Joseph's Hospital South and Hawthorne Rehabilitation facility for the care they provided.
